I take it this is for a HT (movies) set up. One of the Pioneer Elite SC series AVR's will do nicely.Political Correctness'.........defined

I was thinking about a HK (Harmon Kardon) but I will take a look at the Elite.
Thanks -
I like the onkyo 717 with pre outs so you can add a amp later. But there a lot of good amps out there.

If you patient enough you should be able to score the same set up for lot less than $849. I know this is Frys this week deal. They are on sale on Frys seperately very often. rti8 for $169 each x2, rti4 for $99 a pair. csi3 for $99. Not sure come with which psw but Newegg has psw505 for $189 or $200.
H/K 3600 also has pre-out. now selling $449 new by World Wide Stereo or $399 refurb by H/K on eBay both.MAIN:
Front- LsiM 707 (MIT Terminator 2 Bi-Wire),
Center- lsiM 706,
Surrounds- lsi F/X,
Power sub PSW1000,
Receiver- Harman Kardon Avr 3700,
Amp - Emo XPR-5.
Secondary (2.1):
LsiM 703,
HK Avr 3700,
Yaqin MS-30L,
Polk DSW-PRO 400. -
Just my personal opinion, but I think you'll be happier with a Csi5 over the Csi3, and Fxi's for surrounds over rti4's if possible as well. You said Psw but which one? You'll want the 505 over the 10.
