So... I came across a interesting discovery today.
It all stems back to when I bought my 3.1TL's. I felt that the seller was shady and had a bad feeling but never the less, I'm happy I have my speakers. Have a look at this thread - http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?133148-3.1TL-Guru-s Starting at post #10, you will see that these had SL2000 tweets and some uncertainty with another set the seller had at one time he claimed. He also refused to include the interconnect cable saying that was extra and someone was lined up to buy it anyhow.
Low and behold the following two ads:

There would be the interconnect and original SL3000 tweets from my speakers. While there will always be some doubt for lack of actual evidence, I'm fairly certain on many traits on which I've observed. I've been watching this guy's ad's on the local sale site since I bought my speakers. I know what's in his home and what he does for work. Without going into to much detail, this guy's... Classy we'll say. I should ad that he hardly uses his own pictures for his ads.
I'm quite tempted to fire him off a "friendly" email. Can't help but be a little pissed off. Even though I've taken the speakers past there prime and will have a 1k AI-1 next week any how. But what a shady ...

He is selling that AI-1 WAAAAY CHEAP !!! BTW, that isn't what came with the speakers as sold,it was just a plain pin/blade cable, AI-1s were sold separately, if I'm not mistaken.

Exactly, however he doesn't list it's an AI-1. He also never uses his own pictures.
He's not selling a "AI-1" but a regular SDA cable. I saw it brother when I bought my speakers... -
CL is full of these guys. Dallas has one around every corner.

Is there any way to report him and his "ethics" to CAM ? It'd be a nice service to perform for all of his potential victims.

It would be difficult for them to base my complaint on my story without providing more details I'm sure. I am happy with what I have and the price paid. Just amazes me that morons like this live free especially local.
