EPI's from the seventies, free if you are local

Just in case anyone wanted these:

Dad's old pair of EPI loudspeakers from the 70's, complete with famous (infamous?) concave dome tweeter. one model is M200, one model is M250. I am not quite sure how that happened but they look exactly the same and were sold as a matching pair, go figure.

these are shaped like a square prism. The top is about a foot and a half square and they are maybe 2, 2.5 feet tall. Finished in a darker wood with black grills, 2 tweeters, 2 6.5 inch drivers in sealed enclosure. All drivers work, 1 driver needs refoaming, thus the reason we are getting rid of them, because no one feels like refoaming it. Dad's comment: "I got 25 years out of them, I am satisfied"

these are nothing special but if you want something for a garage rig or a 2nd system or whatever. they definitely have decent bass, maybe not great extension, but the fairly large enclosure and sealed design makes what it does produce sound quite nice.

local pick up only, Fairfax, VA. These are probably gettting pitched in a week if no one here claims them. If you want them but can't make it to VA to pick them up right this week I can put them in the basement for awhile as long as you promise you will pick them up eventually.

Don't make me haul these to the dump, just the principle is disheartening.

I picked the speakers up today, interesting design. I will do my best to keep them safe and sound (hehe) until Tour makes his next gear gathering jaunt.
