in February i will be going home for my 21st birthday to spend a couple weeks, looking to do some stereo shopping and know of nowhere to do so, can you let me know of your favorite spots to go, also plan to sweep the pawnshops for vintage items, anything from smokey point to seattle would be easily accessible as i will be in snohomish/everett most of the time, but bellingham isnt out of the picture

    Hawthorne Stereo in Seattle is a must see and one of my favorites. Pawn shops are usually slim pickings and take up a fair amount of time, but you could get lucky.

    Definitive on Roosevelt is a nice place too. Speakerlab is right down the street.

    I lived in Seattle for most of my life, and I spent a lot of time around 63rd and Roosevelt, where the real Magnolia Hi-Fi (not the fake ones at BB), Speakerlab, and Definitive Audio are at. If you can't find something there that warms the heart, you need to find a new hobby.
    My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.
