For sale a very nice Marantz 2252B stereo receiver. This model was made 1978-80 puts out 52 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 65 into 4 ohms. It has a very good AM/FM tuner section and features, bass, midrange and treble for both left and right channels, balance, loudness, mono/stereo, FM muting, high filter, tape copy1-2 and 2-1. Has inputs for aux, phono1 and phono 2, tape 1 and tape 2 as well as preamp out and main amp in. it also can handle two pairs of speakers. The receivers is in excellent shape and everything works as it should. All lights work(the 7tuner dial lights have all be replaced). The front panel is very clean as is the window and looks very sharp No problems at all. . The case is very nice also with a few light marks. The speaker adaptors ( they allow me to use bananas)will be taken out of the A terminals and the original power cord has been spliced back on as I use a detachable cord with my system. Clean inside also. Asking $295 Thanks, keith

Wonder how this would work with a pair of 703's?...with a Carver tfm-55? I'm assuming you can get the speaker adapters from parts express, radio shack. Is the $295 including shipping, etc.?

Shipping and insurance to you would be $25. it will cost more but i will cover it. The adaptors are just the $4.19 pseaker terminals from Radio Shack The threaded part goes right in the opening for a temporary use or if one does not want to mdify the unit.
