    I believe its because he said he "broke" his other amp to get a new one under warranty. I read into that statement that he intentionally blew/overloaded/broke the used amp so he could get a NIB one using his warranty in order to be able to sell it quicker than a used one.

    Like breaking your HDTV before the warranty is up so you can get a new one.

    I wouldn't deal with people who openly admit they aren't straight up in their business dealings. JMO.
