First a small confession. I have a really bad habit of buying inexpensive, small flashlights. I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 in my work truck and about the same at home. These are just the ones I like. I'll leave the ones I don't like in some strangers attic, and the nexy person just gets a free one. SO I'm always on the look out for another one.

I actually found one a couple of weeks ago at Home Depot. It's a small utilitech that takes 1 AAA battery, and has an LED light. Tough little guy, aluminium construction, and fairly bright. Probably has a 3 foot diameter beem at 8 feet, and that is about the max range.

Not to bad for close up inspections, and most important it's cheap. Just thought I'd give it a mention, because I think it's worth the $5 price tag.

I saw a rechargable one the other day at the hardware store. It plugs into the cigarette lighter. Thought that was sorta cool.

I saw that one also. Problem is I would forget ir, and have to go back out to my truck every time. Was looking for something to fit easily into my pocket, and that's why I tried it.

This time of year, heating. We'll start A/C in mid-March, unless we get some needed rain then.
