Hi All
I may have a chance to get a used LSi 15 from the south and too far and costly to audition it. What would be the sonic compared with M705? I prefer music that is more open and airy. Its for pure 2channel listening and I listens to all types from rock to big band to classicals

I have 15's with both the driver mod and upgraded XO's and the 705's are better in every way. That said, the 15's are still an excellent, musical speaker.

    Thanks PSOVLSK
My problem with the m703s are that it does not give me the big stage I hear in other system. Its tight and fast though it has all the details not like the ones with bigger drivers which is a little relaxed and dynamic and gives an air to some instruments.

Actually, I got the 703's (which I'm enjoying as I type thank you very much). I had a nice listening session with the 705's when Skip had them.

I've owned both the LSI's and LSIM's and I like the M series much better? They're better for both HT and music.

    Hi all,
Thanks for all your contributions. I had fanally decided to bite the bullet and take the 15% lost to exchange the M703s to M705s. From what I have heard, the 705s is definitely different from the smaller brother. I will continue to monitor and see if I can get a vintage Polk SDA 2.3TL if it pops up with a good price.
