Realistic Optimus 5B

Hey guys! Up for grabs is this set of speakers. Need to keep it local (Pacific NW) due to size and weight. Shipping wouldn't make sense. Bought them new in the late 70's. Cabinets are a bit beat up but drivers and grills are in nice shape. Sound pretty good for what they are. They were pretty well reviewed back in the day. Restore the cabs for a decent 2 channel rig or leave them alone and have nice tunes in the garage. Not sure what the demand will be on this so I'll leave it up for a few days, otherwise I'll give them to the first response.
Willing to drive an hour or so from Puyallup to meet or deliver.

Not in obviously, but damn nice karma. My humble setup...
...is no more. -
If ya got a sailboat, I'll meet ya halfway, Ken.
Very nice karma. Good luck!
Hell, Id meet you on your doorstep Mike. The grey and gloom of the NW is getting to me. Love some Hawaiian sunshine... -
Nice Karma and pretty good speakers too!
Rumor has it they were an attempt to clone KLH 5s that went fairly well!
Not in, because I have a pair of Nova 8s (very similar) and 7Bs (same drivers as Optimus 1Bs, I believe)--part of a Realistic "nostalgia" system. The other good thing, the surrounds on these don't need any attention!
And I'm on the other coast, in any case.

Very nice Karma Ken. My brothers roommate had a pair of Realistic speakers in college and I thought they were the best sounding things I'd ever heard (and they were at the time). I'd visit my brother and immediately turn on the stereo to listen.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden
