two receivers

is it possible to run my hdmi out from one receiver to the hdmi in on a second, just to use the first as an hdmi hub, will have all speakers connected to the second, or can i put the first to the rear of the room to handle my surrounds, but run still have them connected

    Why or what made you think that you should or could or need to do this? What are you trying or wanting or hoping to gain from doing this?

    Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out.

    i forgot those existed honestly, im still curious as to whether or not the two receiver idea will work though

    theoretically it would work, all the audio would have to be on the same unit because of the surround processing

    You could try that idea, but I'm not sure if that would work. My thinking is the first receiver would strip the audio off the hdmi signal being passed to the other receiver.
