Does AK now give quizzes that you have to pass before you get membership????

I don't know if they do or not as I'm not an active member there these days, but what a brilliant idea. It may take a few years, but I can see the collective IQ rising as a result.

I think everone knows that LP (in reference to Audiokarma.org) is short for Loopie People. (That's a joke people, I am not bad-mouthing AK in all seriousness).

That's exactly right. Most of the word captcha's (the words you type in to prove your not a bot) the bots' have beaten. Quite a few of the places for forum administrators recommend switching to rotating questions, to gain entry. Questions should be easy enough for the average person to know easily or can find out easily.

When we implemented questions for membership at PA, the amount of spammers and bots registering was dramatically reduced. Before it was implemented we were averaging close to 20 registrations a day from foreign IP addresses.
