Center Channel
I'm here seeking advice because I feel like a newbie at this. I have a 7.2 onkyo receiver in a 20x25 room.
I'm running monitor 75t's for fronts with a ps505 sub. I have monitor 30s for the rears and sides. It's all tied together with a onkyo receiver. The weakest link in the chain is the crappy onkyo center channel I currently have been stuck using. It annoys me and I have the money to upgrade the center channel. I am curious what you forum goers would say the best fit for this kind of system?
I am enjoying the polk series and as a result would happily stay with them for a center. That being said, I have no idea which center channel I should buy... There is almost laughably, too many options. The CS20 seems to be where I have the most interest but I just wanted to hear some input from people whom probably know more about this than I do. Should I dish out the money for a CSia4? or even the CSia6? Is the increased cost truly indicative of increased quality or is it simply just newer?

Welcome to club polk!
The CS20 or CS2 will go great with your 30's. If you do the CSiA series, you're looking at the RTiA's for a match.

Thanks. I have an older one, a.... HT-RC160 I believe. I actually love the way this setup sounds, even with the cheapo receiver. It's just the center is currently sounding under-powered and wimpy. Especially compared to everything else.

It looks like the Monitor 25C is supposed to be the match for your fronts. Newegg has it here for $162.95 in cherry.

Open box, not bad, the CS2 is still a better deal IMO.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2
