Currently, I don't drive my Polks with seperates,
I use a Kenwood VR-2080 (high-current and discrete amp
circuitry). I know it isn't one of the ones on Polk's
web site as far as recommended like a HK in the FAQ
section. What does Polk think of Kenwood's new
Sovereign line? Would a Kenwood VR-5900 be as good as a HK
for driving the new LSis? Thanks,

the soveirgn line DOES look pretty impressive. all THX ultra certified, and faroudja picture quality certification. not to get caught up in certs., but for kenwood i think this is a huge leap up. did you get the free demo DVD on this line? it is pretty cool, i don't know if you can still request it or not. it has info on every soveirgn product, plus some THX demos, and 5.1 audio demos. pretty sweet for free...:D
