265-LS custom enclosures

I have a need for a specific size speaker. I would like to use the 265-LS in wall speakers mounted in a custom built enclosure. My question is can I use a 3/4" plywood or am I limited to 1/2"? Also, are their any other tips you have on speaker building? Thanks.

    I would use MDF instead of plywood and yes, use thicker rather than thinner.
