Packing up the systems for a new home

Through a series of very fortunate events...we were able to sell our house (for a pretty good price) and get a super deal on a significant upgrade. We were on a timeline due to my wife's new job, so I am very thankful how this all played out.
Plus, in the new house, I am getting the fourth bedroom (about 10'x12') as my "whatever" room. I've got a couple guitars and amps to put in there, but maybe set up another small system in there down the road. (is that room too small for sda's??)
Here are some pics. Keep in mind the people moving out are in their 80's so our furniture and a little paint should spiff it righ up!

Living room...have some work to do on that fireplace layout
Fully finished basement perfect for my HT gear

Congrats! That is an awesome looking place you got there! What kind of guitars and amps do you have?--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -
Congrats on the move! Looks like a nice Wisconsin location that will be white pretty soon!

nice! still in good ol' Wisco or did you leave the area as well for your wife's job?

Nice looking space. Plenty of room to "expand". Anything room? Don't worry you'll fill that up quickly. My home office is 17 x 10 and I can barely move in here? Several systems available, a large personal library, speakers galore and a 7' L shaped desk, filing cabinets, and last by not least a "recliner" for listening sessions. lol
Off limits to the "wife"! Audio, Video, Literary Sanctuary!
Enjoy!

Yea, I saw your thread and our situation was looking kind of sketchy at the time, but then things kicked into gear. Good for you and me. Sometimes, things work out! What kind of guitars and amps do you have?

really? very cool. I used to live there in the summers when I was in school and worked at Noah's Ark as a life guard. Good times down that way. You're only about an hour to 1 hour 20 mins away from me if you are ever in the neighborhood let me know. I'm up in Stevens Point/Plover WI area.
There are some guys I think in your area as well that are into hi fi but not sure. I know I've seen a couple selling stuff on Audiogon but never really talked to them much. -

Well, I almost spoke too soon
I patiently waited to start this thread until I thought we were in the clear so as not to jinx anything. However, there ended up being some issues with the people buying our house, but after 4 closings were pushed back...WE FINALLY CLOSED TODAY!!
Huge weight off our shoulders. Luckily, we're already moved in having signed an occupancy agreement so that part is done, too.
I'll get some pics up soon with my systems in their new home. Good deal! Congratulations. We were sweating the appraisal on our old house, because the buyers came in with a higher than expected offer---luckily the place appraised out over their offer, otherwise we might have had to re-negotiate the selling price.
There is a cost, DSL internet! (Booooooooo). Hey, I knew that moving to the sticks had a price. LOL, actually it's not too bad--but it definitely ain't cable internet.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 -
