Does anyone else have this album on vinyl? I just got it yesterday and have a question--I thought that all records except for the little ones were 33 1/3 rpm? I had this album at 33 on my turntable and it was really really slow. I put it on 45 and it was the right speed. The record is really heavy. Could it be spinning more slowly than it should because of that or is it just a 45? Thanks. I'm new to vinyl and still have alot to learn about it.

HTTT, threw me for a loop. I thought there was something wrong with my table too. :)

The heavyness is 180g vinyl and 45. Better quality sound from the heavyness and the 45. Cool Eh?

    Radiohead my man. ;)

Great on vinyl. Try OK Computer, by far my favorite album on vinyl. I have OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, The Live one and HTTT.

interesting... obviously info imprint is less dense at 45 rpm, but effectively the same for pick up. tracking is a bit more challenging at higher speed...

    what's the total playing time?
    More later,

I bought OK Computer, The Bends, and HTTT. I've also got Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot on vinyl and it's 180g too on 2 LP's. I'm waiting on a new needle to come in sometime this week, then I can enjoy it. Thanks for informing me about the speed.

Chicago's treating me well, thanks for asking. It's awesome here. I don't know anyone here but my girlfriend and a couple of her friends but I'm still having a good time. There was a little snow last Monday, but the temperature has gone up since then. It's about 55 right now, but last week was a cold one. It was about 21 every morning when I would wake up to go to work. I'm afraid of what's to come in the next few months. If you're ever in Chicago, give me a call or an email.
Regarding Radiohead, I also got the Meeting People is Easy DVD in addition to the vinyl and watched it a couple of days ago. It's pretty cool. I heard some songs that I've never heard before. I'll have to try and find a CD of their unreleased stuff. You have any stuff that's not on any of the albums?

Good to here. I'm pretty far from Chicago (Northern Ontario), don't think I'll ever make it there. Mapquest says about a 13 hour drive. Thanks for the offer.

The Radiohead DVD is really good, except for the fact there's no chapters on it and the songs are cut into clips. Hopefully they'll release a live DVD soon, that would be amazing.

As for unreleased stuff, go on Kazaa and start downloading. That's about the only place I've found stuff I've never heard. Check out some singles too, there's usually a b-side or 2 and they're usually pretty good. The Airbag: How am I driving EP is great, if you can find it.
