I have for sale an original Polk AI-1 with the original (well worn) box. The cord on the long end was damaged when I got it, so I removed the damaged section, spliced the cord together (done right) and used heat shrink to seal the repair. It works perfectly and the repair looks very well done. I adjusted the price to reflect the repaired condition.
The short end of the 16-2 cord is 3' long, the other end is 11' 3" and with the transformer box the total length is 14' 6", which should be plenty long enough for any set up.
