Hey all I bought a lot of tunes this year, but this thread is about 2012 recordings from your favorite artists what you bought and what your thoughts are. Mine are as follows from favorite to least Favorite.

Black Country Communion-Afterglow (A real Supergroup for those that use the term Supergroup)
Donald Fagen-Sunken Condos (The Donald did it again if he wrote a cookbook I'd buy it)
Joe Walsh-Analog Man (A good one I hope Joe keeps em coming)
Led Zeppelin-Celeration Day (having owned this one day its#4 good job gents)
Tommy Bolin & Friends-Great Gypsy Soul (Warren Haynes Idea and a good one at that)
Neil Young & Crazy Horse-Psychedelic Pill (Shakeys back on track and he brought The Horse with him)
Don Felder-Road To Forever (Why The Eagles let him go is beyond me)
Frank Zappa-Hot Rats, Bongo Fury, One Size Fits All, Roxy & Elsewhere (2012 rereleases get em Zappa fans)
ZZ Top-Futura (ZZ's best since Duegello)
Aerosmith-Music From Another Dimension (take out the ballads and this is damn good Aerosmith)
Heart-Fanatic (The wilson sisters are back, but they still need Roger Fisher)
Van Halen-A Different Kind Of Truth ( Daves back Michael is out wolfie is in I still like it)
Kiss- Monster ( I like old Kiss this harkens back to the old days)
Neil Young & Crazy Horse (What was Shakey & the Horse Thinking? oh well its in the Neil collection)

    Bought alot of music this year. Not many 2012 relaeses though.
    Zappa remasters. All good.
    Both from Neil. You know on those.
    Leonard Cohen, Old Ideas. Its growing on me.
    Jack White, Blunderbuss. Great album.

    ETRNVR001: Despot & Abstract Elements - The Never Engine

    One of the best minimal dnb releases I've heard, can't get enough of it. Highly recommended, even if you don't like/have never heard the genre - give it a listen :)

    im with you rhcp, agreed, like what they have done with t he bass though, favorite band, only a couple cd's away from completing my collection
