What is the difference between RT2000P & RT2000i

I know the 2000i has blue drivers (is it the same driver as the RT55i?). What about the crossovers? Are they the same? Do they use the same board with different componets or a completely different design? Someone who I loaned my RT2000P a few years ago gave it back to me and i was thinking of trying to change it to a 2000i....

the "i" in Polk's designation, as I understand it, stands for "improved"

The 2000i had blue drivers... What the difference was I don't know... Were the crossovers the same?

I would suspect the crossovers would have necessarily changed due to the use of different drivers. I doubt that it was just a straight driver swap.

Here's an odd one... I have hooked up the RT2000P to my current setup replacing the LSi15s... The RT2000P sounds better than the LSi15. It is clearer and more articulate and noticeably so. The highs are not as smooth and detailed as the LSi15 (you hear more and there is better ambience). The bass is a bit flabbier (the LSi15 has DB840s replacign the stock 8" drivers). The LSi15 has better depth than the RT2000P. But the RT2000P is just more cleaner sounding. Weird.
