For sale is a Philips CDR785 (CDR-785) CD Player Recorder.
Few minor scratches but overall in great condition.
I use it almost daily in my secondary system for CD playback.
Wanted to see any interest before heading to that auction site.
$100 + shipping PP gift or USPS MO.
If interested, I'll take couple of pictures.
It has a 3 CD changer tray and a CD recorder drive.
Program feature allows recording from multiple CD's into one along with many other features like CD TEXT etc...
Jog wheel allows operation most of the functionality so even without remote, it can be operated.
The CD recorder drive lights up red when recording and blue when playing back.
Please refer to PDF manual here: Philips CDR785 Manual Link
It has RCA in/out, digital coax in/out and optical in along with headphone and mic jacks in the front.
>>
It plays and records fine but what I found is that it needs good quality CD-R and CD-RW's to record.
You can find list of compatible brands online.
Good brands like Verbatim and Maxell CD-R works fine while cheap GQ brand CD-R's don't get recognized.
This is not a defect but the way they are designed to work.
Included is original REMOTE.
