LSiM Center Channels: 704C vs. 706C

I've been running 703's as fronts with a single LSi9 as a center. I want to upgrade to an LSiM center soon. Has anyone heard both the 704 and 706??? I'd assume that the 706 would be better, and would match my 703's better since it uses the same 6.5's, but I know some people prefer the 705's to the 707's... wondering if the same applies to the 704 vs 706.

Haven't had a chance to try out the LSiM704c but I've had plenty of time on the LSiM706c and it is fantastic! Its one of the only centers that I feel truly just disappears and makes the movie experience so much more immersive.
(I've used it with both 705 towers and 703 bookshelfs) -
I have the 706. And i agree with topper. Imo the 706 is awsome!!!!

Glad to hear that the 706 is as awesome as I had assumed.
Anybody compare it to a 704???2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

How do you think a single 703 would do as a center, compared to the 706? It would be cheaper, and could potentially match my fronts (703's) better. Thoughts?2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

Between the 2, I'd say the 706 for no other reason than was given to me when I compared the 2 center speaker offerings Polk had for the RTi line: 'Go big or go home' LOLAVR - Onkyo NR809
500gb HD for MP3 and FLAC files
Amp - Parasound 2250 - FOR SALE BTW!! PM me if interested!
Mains - Polk RTi12 towers
Center - CSi5
Surround - FXiA6's
Sub - psw505
Movies and games - PS3
TV - Toshiba 52" HD
Every vehicle has one good nuetral drop in it -
The 706 sounds better as a center. Tried the 703 when I had them on demo as a center.

hmmm... I'd do a pair of Martin Logan SL3's, but I don't want to ship those.
I'll trade you money...
I have some other crap laying around.. A Monster Power AVS-2000 Voltage Stabalizer/Power Conditioner/Surge Suppressor, a Yamaha M-80 2-channel power amp, a couple of Adcom GFA-545's, A couple Yamaha EQ-550's, pair of Monitor 7's, pair of SDA 2B's (shipping problem again), I'll look around and see what else is not being used...2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's
