    Those look like studios. Why prolong the search get Charley's 2.3 s and end the anguish, the cards are on the table hold em or fold em. It is fun searching though isn't it.

    Yes, I had a great conversation with him yesterday and I think we are doing the deal?? (still waiting for pics) My luck he is willing to meet me half way as I am in no physical shape for even half of that ride right now and hope I can stand it in 6 weeks. I will make stops along the way to stretch out the legs and that will sure help.

    I have fellow musicians that now love polk speakers too, so always looking out for them as well. Thanks for the reply. BTW these studios are on the market to me for 125.00. Far jump from the 800+gas+gas, but I am still making the SDA 2.3 deal go down.

    Those appear to be SL2000 (Silver Dome) tweeters like came in the 2Bs from the factory.

    This is a stupid question but I might as well get it out. These black (and other finishes) 2Bs are referred to as "Studio" models. Is there a specific name for the ones with the cloth on the sides?
