Looks like this movie is getting solid reviews. Looks real good to me from the trailers. I may try to see this in the next few days.

I love those old sailing ship battles with cannons going off.

This should make for a killer DVd when it comes out. PLEASE give us a DTS track!

This is also high on my list as a must see. I used to sail a square-rigger just like in this movie and others back and forth to Catalina Isle almost every weekend many years ago. Climbing up the masts and out on the yard arms, man what a blast.

This movie, Pirates and Cutthroat Island all have some great cannon battles.

    Peace Out~:D

Saw M&C last night. Great battle scenes but a little slow in between. Not nearly as much action as Pirates but definately a "must see." Russell Crowe is great as Lucky Jack!

I did see it tonight and yes it is worthwhile. A little long perhaps at 138 minutes, but that is OK. When the ships do battle the sound effects are great. It should sound "good" on DVD in 4 to 6 months.
