just want to know if there are any differences between them...newegg has them ....for good price ...just going to use them as my rear surrounds......thanks

    Other than aesthetics, the only difference that I know of between series II and the original is the tweeter material -- cloth for series ii and silk for the original. Exactly which one is better and whether there's even a difference between the two are matters outside of my realm of knowledge at this point in time.
