Jolida jd-1000rc tube amp

What does everyone think about this Integrated amp ? IS it a good tube amp,and did anyone own one or hear one who would like to share comments about it. I know of a like new used one that could be picked up in the $1000 range. Would this be a good price used for this amp and what about the build quality ?

    Neat amp if you want/need all that tube power. The price seems right for the equipment, but I don't know that they go for new.

    New they are in the $2500 range. One on Audiogon now for over $2000.

    1000 is OK. Depends on the condition. Plus you may have to roll quite a few tubes there. I've seen a higher model Jolida in action and I own a lower model. Pretty happy with the performance of my 303 (only a 50 watter EL 34 based--about half the power of your unit) . And I was VERY impressed with the Jolida Music Envoy mono-blocks. They knocked it out of the park on a set of rather large Tannoy floorstanders!

    Build quality seems fairly solid and reliable.

    One question to ask is what YEAR this guy bought the Jolida and from whom. Because there was/is a controversy surrounding the two Jolidas, legal battle over property rights and designs, U.S.vs China, etc. If it's at least a few years old you don't have to worry. But this looks like it's advertised as a NEW model on the United home products site. Yet I've seen this model or a similar one around for many years? Need more info from the seller.

    WHY is he selling? When/where did he buy, etc.?
