Tophat, hope you're ok and the surgery went well. How long do you figure it's going to take you to recover? I'm wondering if charley95 can wait it out a little bit for tophat to recover, as long as charley95 doesn't seem to be having an easy time selling and doesn't seem to need to sell too quickly anyway? Seems we have a seller and a buyer in close enough proximity, a very reasonable price, and just need to sort out logistics and timing. I'd be psyched to see this deal go down, maybe a little while down the road when tophat has his legs back under him....
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Matthew Polk didn't drive them in the back of his station wagon to the stores when they were new.

If the seller has original boxes AND THE ORIGINAL PACKING STYROFOAM, I wouldn't hesitate to ship them via common carrier. Might want to "reinforce" the thirty-year-old cardboard with a LOT of packing tape, though.

    Exactly.

Thanks and I am getting around okay. Just can't sit in the same position for more than 10 minutes and pain has shifted to the left knee real bad! Getting old I guess??
I want the speakers charley95 is selling and just sent him a message with a game plan, so fingers crossed they will be mine before too long. Thanks for the positive plugs on this deal, and I look forward the the SDA vibe in my living room. Bye bye to the RT2000i's, which are in mint shape too!!

Sounds like the right decision get charley95's. He is close by, better speakers, and your supporting a fellow polkie thats what it's all about is it not? I hope you guys get the deal done. I guess you cant stop once you get a ear on some SDA's. That would make 3 pair you would own addicting huh.

Glad Charley's SDA's might go to a good home. Keeping the SDA's in the family is always preferable
