Buying new vinyl in Canada

I was down at my local London Drugs store today (for our American cousins think drugstore with a huge A/V department) and not only are they now carrying lots of vinyl titles, but they have a fairly extensive supply of MFSL stuff!! Used to be the only way to score new MFSL vinyl was to have it shipped. I just love the vinyl renaissance.

So you go down the "Bear Traps' aisle, turn left at the 'Mukluks", continue on until you hit the "MFSL/Vinyl" section ?

......okay, I just said that out of jealousy :redface: and because once again, you guys up there are making us look bad down here.

That is very cool; is it just that one store, or does the whole chain (assuming it's a chain) have this ?

It must be at all stores. I picked up a (new) Wes Montgomery Album there a few weeks ago. Also picked up Pink Floyd's "Wish you were here" on 180 gram vinyl. Another local chain (Visions electronics) carries new vinyl as well.

Nice to be able to pick up the albums and give them a look over.

The whole chain of London Drugs Stores carries vinyl now. Oh and mrbigbluelight, it's actually down the toque and back bacon isle next to the electric socks and snow shovels.

It appears they are only located in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewa, and Manitoba. Sorry.

I browsed through my London Drugs flyer this week and was shocked to see multiple ads for vinyl.

I've never been in their store nor would I expect them of all places to carry any.
