I haven't tried db4500 at all but i'm tretty sure SR6500 woofer and a tweeter will be a way better way to go over that with db4500 inbetween.
SRs are very detailed and honestly while dbs are the best "bang for the buck" it is nowhere near SRs in..well.... anything.

Have to agree with this. The SR component set is extremely well designed to reproduce the full spectrum of sound (except for sub bass), and does so on its own. Running the entry level DB speakers along with the SR will only dilute the sound quality, and severely limit the amount of power you can run. If you really want the best possible sound, drop the DB out of the equation and bi-amp the SR components.

If Im not mistaken, those are from the old DB line. That was WAY back in Polk's history and were their top end line back in the late 90's I think or maybe early 2000's. Those are excellent speakers if that is indeed what that is.

As for amps, Zapco and Audison would be my top 2 choices for "high end" amps but youre gonna pay for it. Id stay away from Alpine amps as all I hear about them is noise issues. JL Audio makes nice ones and their JX line is very nice for the money. Last but not least, Polk's own line of amps are nice. Very powerful and very small which makes for a much easier installation.

    Okay.. I see.

I shall run active 2 way SR in coaxial mode in the dashboard. Subwoofer will be one pair of Pioneer ODR 10" TS-W01RS - first version.

Amps will the 3x of Sony XES-M50 some are 2 channel.

Master headunit (display in mirror) will be Sony XES-P1/X1 with two CDX-828 cd-changer. Have thinking about to run Alpine DVA-9965R some "second" cdplayer into ES Aux connect input optical in dashboard.

Have all stuff, some this are my idea for the moment:mrgreen:

PS! Looks some I have lost the this "rubber grommets for driver in coax mode" , I am just wait 100% name of this plastic screw some the tweeter wire shall going into..

    Someone know what I mean?

Wish could get this, need one!

Try to contact Polk customer support for that piece.

I also believe that DB driver to be from the 90's. It was Polk's top of the line set back in those days, very nice drivers & tweeter. I had the coaxial version of this set. I also had the MM 6 1/2's that were top of the line before that DB line.

As for amps, Mac made some good suggestions. You can't go wrong with either of those companies. I personally used Audisons for a few years with no issues at all.

I would try Crescendo, Sundown, or Audioque. Powerhouse amps that output clean, good power. I personally run Crescendo BC2000D in my setup. If you want more name brand the MB Quart Onx4 amps are really good also, very good bang for buck. They also sound really good and perform well. I run the Onx4.80 on my mids/highs.
