I've decided to part with one of these. I had a couple in different rigs and have decided to shut down the computer rig at work as it never gets used. I had this feeding a Peachtree Dac-IT into a headphone rig at work and have decided to replace everything with a more portable setup. I'm keeping the rest of that rig for now, but am ready to let this piece go.
This is a USB to SPDIF converter, and a very good one at that. So for those that don't know, this goes in line BEFORE your DAC. If you have a source with USB output (computer for example) and a DAC that either doesn't have USB or doesn't have a good asynchronous USB input then you want this, as it takes the USB signal and gets it into a optical or coaxial digital output that your DAC can convert for you. It will handle standard redbook 16/44 resolution all the way up to 24/96.
This is the original black version, link to Amazon below. I have the newer MK!! silver version as well and am keeping it because it fits in with the Mac setup better, but the two perform identically to my ears.

It's in perfect condition, and performs flawlessly.
$80 gets this shipped anywhere in the lower 48 and includes an optical cable as well.

Someone looking to get into PC-based audio should jump on this. Great sounding unit. Will rival CD transports costing 10 times the price. I already have one of these, but I'm tempted to buy this one as a backup! GLWTS!2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's
Living Room: PC > Marantz AV-7703 > Emotiva XPA-5 > Sonus Faber Liuto Towers, Sonus Faber Liuto Center, Sonus Faber Liuto Bookshelves > Dual SVS PC12-Pluses
Office: Phone/Tablet > AudioEngine B1 > McIntosh D100 > Bryston 4B-ST > Polk Audio LSiM-703's -
I found the original box and packing, so this will ship like new
