It's in mine and you are correct sir!

I would add "There's the Rub" to required Wishbone Ash also.

Indeed they are--their last album released in 2011. I saw them maybe 10 years ago in a hotel conf. room in St. Louis, and it was a helluva jam.

Unfortunately, Andy Powell is the only remaining original member.

Most excellent of recommendations, Jstas. This album definitely falls into the "Must Have" category.

I've got one of their albums, but I forget which one. My local record dealer thought I would like it...and it's pretty good.

Jstas...thanks for posting the above link. I listened to it at work today.

Just an FYI for those who may be interested...

If you're into this type of music, there is a show on WREK (the Georgia Tech student-run station) called Stonehenge, which airs on Friday nights from 8:00 PM to midnight Eastern. They play a wide variety of classic rock you will never hear on commercial radio. Linky below...

It is actually a Bantha-prod, and comes in handy when a Stormtrooper needs a little extra persuasion.

Music is very relaxing when communing with the Force.

Nope. This stuff is not even close to my cup of tea.

Different strokes, but I hope someone discovers a new band they could enjoy.

I had it on cassette before it got swiped by a "friend".

Been looking for it on vinyl for a while now. Mostly garbage condition stuff out there now though.

I'll have to grab it on CD.

    I'd imagine it'd sound incredible on SDA's.

Was the recording quality on vinyl any good? The whole album would make a stellar demo piece.

Wasn't a bad recording, and it definitely had some great tunes. The whole album just flowed.
If for no other reason, it was the type of album that helped to keep some of us sane during the .....gasp ..... DISCO years.

.. so maybe it wasn't completely effective, but still ....many lives were saved from the evil that was known as DISCO.

Wishbone Ash was the first "big" concert I ever saw, in about 1974. They were awesome and on top of the world. Everybody I know had Live Dates.

Thanks for bringing this up. I just picked up a copy of "Live Dates" and a spare copy of "Noveau Calls". I think a copy of "Argus" will round that out nicely. Now if I could only afford a '59 Flying V.

I remember Stereo Review did an article about the flying saucer on the original cover art being airbrushed off of the 30th anniversary CD version.

You guys do know that this album is on SHM-SACD, right?
