I've never listened to those Sierras, but based on the pics I'd say that the LSiM's are the clear winner for aesthetics, fit, and finish.
I'd recommend listening to both at a dealer if you can.
I will attest that the LSiM-703's are phenomenal, especially for music, and perform well outside their price class.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

I own the Sierras and while I love them for the price, I would imagine that the LSIMs would put them to shame pretty easily, but the LSIM's are twice the price if you're going no NRT on the Sierras. Though I haven't had a chance to hear them at all. Ascend has good Return policy for their 30 day trial period and if you go that route i would wait to see what they do for a "Black Friday" special as I got mine with a good deal on "B stock" on a Thanksgiving sale deal (slight variation on the color, can't really tell unless you put them side by side)
Falconcry, don't poo poo the Sierra's fit and Finish.. its a smooth and GREAT looking Speaker easily on par in the looks dept with the LSIM (aside from the Grill Holes) if you like the glossy wood look. if not, fair enough.Main 2ch -
