As an FYI, Amazon normally has em pretty cheap and Crutchfield runs specials buy one get one 1/2 off on Polk car audio pretty often. Not sure if Amazon is an authorized dealer or not.

I would do this but mine are just 6 months old don't want too void the warranty. But yeah Amazon has them.

LOL, I think its about the easiest mod out there to both do, and undo, no extra holes need added, no extra wires, so you could do it and if you had an issue undo it after the fact and no one would be the wiser
Provided of course you didnt post about it here lol.
Also I believe its well worth it myself as it tightened up the bass quite nice and took lots of the sloppy boominess out."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." EndersShadow,it is the one with the single voice coil right? Not the one with the dual voice coil?

It is the Single Voice Coil you want or your screwed, which happens to be the cheaper of them as well . Crutchfield has lots of buy one get one 1/2 off on em if you want to go with an authorized dealer. Otherwise Amazon carries them and you can get the same price as the Crutchfield deal from an unauthorized dealer pretty freqently."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Thanks EndersShadow! You think any of the Polk workers hang out in here?:eek:Man me and my big mouth!
