Static noise from speakers using PC

I hear a static noise through my speakers when I move the mouse searching for music using my music PC server running J Rivers that runs to my DAC using Cardas Clear USB cable (see equipment list below). What may cause this? How can I isolate?

    Are you using a cordless mouse? If so, the first thing I would try is a corded one.

    is your j river configured to output in one of the bit-perfect methods? (WASAPI, ASIO etc.)
