Judge should have ordered her to have "Idiot" tattooed on her forehead instead of the sign.

her plates should read idiot. If her kids were on that bus (not sure she has any) she would be furious if someone else did that and add to the fact she has done this many times. She should also be made to go on that bus an say sorry to all the kids and tell them why she is an idiot!

    I don't think that's fair.

Looking closely at the video, you can see that she is on her cell phone (left hand), making what had to have been a very important business call.
Besides, she's only 32 years old, so she shouldn't be expected to know every trivial bit of traffic law. I bet more than one of us had answered incorrectly on the driver's license test, "Should you drive on the sidewalk around daycare centers ?". Trick question, I know I got it wrong.

No, it's not fair ! Ms. Hardin probably feels bad about herself now and it's your fault.

They should let her get run over by school buses for two hours instead of the sign thing. And then give her driver's license back.

Just read that. I like the Judge's thinking.

The worst part is why is she in such a hurry to pass a school bus. What ? To gain 3-4 seconds. Totally stupid.

Stupid has become the norm. People driving around here live on their cellphones. Talking and texting
So they do stupid things like this all the time because their time is valuable.

You can. I wouldn't. Here's another way you could put it: She's just an ignorant individual who puts herself above others. Period. She should really be embarrassed, but I suspect she's not. It's probably someone else's fault.

I would NEVER do anything like that, because I'm not an idiot. But I can see the temptation...

God forbid you get stuck behind a school bus in my neighborhood... The damn thing stops every 100 yards to drop each kid off at their own homes since EVERY parent can't stand the thought of their poor, poor child having to walk. Each kid slowly shuffles off the bus and somehow, every kid on the bus is sitting all the way in the back!

The worst thing, if you pull up to a stop sign at about the same time as the bus, the jerk will not wave anyone ahead... If it was me and I knew I had to make a 1,000 stops, I would wave you ahead. But that's common courtesy.

The old driver would always wave you ahead. She was smart, just because its the law, you also don't want to provoke people to make stupid moves either.

IIRC, part of the story was that bus driver would sit there and chat with parents while people had to sit and wait, basically provoking stupid crap. Seems like two idiots making for a dangerous situation.

The buses around here usually pick up the kids and wave people by when they pull the stop sign in before they take off.
