Sound Cutting out.....ht-4000

I was baffled at first but after some research and discussion with Polk Techs.....My new HT-4000 Sound Bar would cut out after 30mins and then every 5 mins after. The Bar would come back on if I turned it off and on. I first thought it was the connection with the 3.5mm analog wire, and then overheating, but it turns out that, as you plug in the headphone jack to your tv, it cuts the tv speakers. You then run off the original signal being sent to the Tv speakers, to run the sound bar....Well, if the volume is not high enough on the TV, it is not strong enough for the Soundbar to operate properly, and it cuts out into a standby/no signal mode. The lights don't change so it is not Standby persay, but if you just turn the volume up on the TV, the unit comes alive. Good Luck!!
