Hello,
if there is already a post like this, please, point me because I didn't find it, thanks!

I have my new BlackStone 5.1 speakers and I need a good receiver to use with them.

Mainly I use two pc, both for gaming, listen music and compose some nice soundtrack.
Then I have a couple of console to connect and a nice lcd tv.

I'm interested in the Denon 1913, but I must admit I'm a newbie, so, any advice is really, really appreciated !!!

Thanks a lot!

I would consider this one http://http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/ONKTXNR609/Onkyo-TX-NR609-7.2-Channel-3-D-Ready-Network-A/V-Receiver/1.html for two reasons. Its cheaper than the new model Denon in question and when and if you decide to upgrade in the future your not out so much $$. It will handle your 5.1 BS system very easily and along with its plug-ins in the back you will have more than enough receiver for networking and running your games.

Thanks a lot for the (fast) reply!

I just checked over the web and looks like your solution is pretty good!

The price it's not my real priority (of course, I don't want to spent too much anyway), so if the different of price is justified, I'm fine to spent a couple of thousand of extra dollars if the difference worth.

So, if the difference is not so strong from the Onkyo and Denon (I really care the quality of the sound!) of course I will go and buy the best of two.

Anyway, the Onkyo is a 2011 model, there is a more recent and better model ? (i'm not saying the new models are always better, it's only for a better knowledge!)

    Thanks again :)

The newer model replacement is a TX-NR616, You can go to Onkyo's site and compare the features of both. http://http://www.us.onkyo.com/mainpage.cfm

    Welcome to Club Polk Aery.

Get whichever receiver has all the bells and whistles that you want it to have and make sure it has preouts for future upgrade in power should you decide to get bigger speakers that require more power.
