I built a stereo in a cooler with
Poly planar MRD 80i head
Rockford Fosgate PBR 300x2 amp
Suriken battery
Polk mm651 speakers
The little amp runs very hot an d I would like to replace it with a Polk d5000.5 amp and add a polk 8" subwoofer. Is this overkill for the 651s if I bridge amp

Pictures we need pictures
Hmm..... does this amp have any vents from this cooler? I'm sure if the amp doesn't have any air vents around it, it will be HOT. So I'm sure any amp will be HOT also.
Just a thought.
