More Led Zeppelin to be released..............

I know, how many more time do we have to buy this stuff? I am a huge fan so I will probably purchase each set. This quote from John Paul Jones regarding why it took Led Zeppelin so long to release the up coming "Celebration Day" reunion concert from 2007 honoring Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun. "Five years in Led Zeppelin time is like 5 minutes in real time" makes me skeptical these will be released on the reported schedule. Still, it's something to look forward to..................eventually

Hopefully the "new" remastering will be a helluva lot better than the most recent non-SHM Japanese box set.

I recently spent $179 on a remastered Japanese set done like the Beatle remasters. While it is nice to have little 'albums', so to speak, I wasn't impressed with the sound, except for Led Zeppelin 1. I hope these remasters are better in terms of sonics.

What I'd really love to see though, is the entire Led Zeppelin catalog released as an SACD or Blu-Ray audio box set. Now that'd be wicked cool!!

I've waited on purpose for anything LZ because I've gotten over my "upgradeitis" a long time ago and have much patience.

Hiya F1nut, I've been gone a while... Nice to see Kimi back in it.

I still own all the non-remastered Japanese import CD's (except the untitled fourth album and "Houses Of The Holy" of which I own the West German "Target" CD's). I hope these remasters are done well. Since Jimmy Page is leading the way with these remasters, I am expecting great things. Also, I read Jimmy quoted as saying he wanted to give Zeppelin fans a set of "21st Century remasters". Hopefully this will include SACD's as part of the 21st century ideaology.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
