Project sda srs 2.3

Hi All Polk fans
I dunno if this place is the right place to post this, but it goes.
I am now living in vietnam and due to its long war with various fronts the market only opens up in the 80's. The Polk's best era is also in the same period. Due to the large, heavy and cost, I could not find any of the legendary Polk sda srs 1.2 or 2.3 here. There is no seller willing to help ship it here to?. I am looking for enthusiast who would help me promote the legend of Polk's sda srs speakers here in vietnam. The locals here loves big woofers and I am sure it will generate a world of interest if I could bring a pair here. I researched the sales price for the last year and it all seems to be sub one thousand. The cost of shipping will be more. However as a hobbyist I am willing to pay up to US$3000.00 for a pair of restored 2.3. If there is anyone here interest to help me please let me know Thanks in advanced.

    it seems that there are no takers for this project. i remembered during the 70s i used to buy old cars and redo it completely, wiring, drive line, engine and the hifi sy~system and sell it just to recover cost of parts and some labor for hobby. Now most people spend time on many other things. I would like to do the restoration myself however i am staying nearly 200km from the city and getting things can sometimes be a little tricky. Too bad i am not in the usa

    Keep your dream alive. Keep checking World Wide Web-Ebay and such. Life is a journey not a destination. I like the spark you have started. Took me two years to find the SDA,s I wanted. Now I am going to keep them forever and do all the modifications I can find. Good luck in your journey. Darryl

    Thanks F1nut and dabutcher for your encourage and encouragements. Will keep searching. By the way my E406arrived at the port should be getting it sơn, I hope. The systems here is sometimes unbelievable in both ways

    Its easier for you to get within country. I see a few just last month but may not be in your area. Imagine shipping it overseas? I doubt there would be any takers except for those hobbyist. I'll have to be patience to land one.
