No new pre-...thankfully

Not 10 minutes after posting about wishing I had bought the Dared pre- in the FM, I turn on my system and get no sound...nothing. Troubleshooting determined that my Carver tfm-55 isn't working. I wasn't able to get to the fuse, but if that's not the problem I'm pretty much out of luck with regards to fixing it myself.

Moral to story is that things happen for a reason I suppose. I'd be in bad shape if I'd have just dropped $400 on a pre- that I couldn't even use.

I could be in the market for an entry level amp to run my outdoor speakers. Maybe something like the Rotel I just sold a few months ago:rolleyes:
