I guess I'm the late one . I didn't know that Polk Audio was sold to Directed Elecctronics in 2006, however the owner of Directed Electroincs Incorporated is Sandy Gross which was a co-founder of Polk Audio.

Uhhhh, yeah kinda accurate in that he owned his own company, also owned byDEI.....DefTech (Retired in 2009). Sandy was long gone by that Polk timetable....in fact LONG gone. He has been doing his own thing for many years and Golden Ear is just one of those ventures.
