Modest amp for LSiM 703?

Hello everyone!
I do a lot of reading?not a lot of posting?but I just needed to speak up and ask for some advice.
I currently have a very modest setup that I'm looking to upgrade. I'm running a Denon AVR into a pair of RTi4s and a Velodyne sub. Ultimately, I'd like to upgrade my power and eventually get the LSiM 703s.
What would be a good amp in the sub-$1,000 range? I know that might make some of you cringe, but it's really all I can do. I've been looking at the NAD C 245BEE, which while it's only 35 watts per channel, it would allow me to biamp the 703s and I'm just making an assumption that because it's NAD, it's quality power.
Would that be a good option for me, or do I "need" more watts per channel? I don't need an integrated amp?I'll be using my trusty HeadRoom Desktop amp as a preamp.
If I can get some affirmation on the NAD or, alternatively, a better sub-$1,000 suggestion, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

That's not bi-amping, those 4 channels all share the same power supply. Bi-amping requires separate amps and active crossovers.
Do you have to buy new?Political Correctness'.........defined

Ahh, I see. I don't fully understand bi-amping. The marketing language is a little misleading...
And no, I'd be okay with buying used, so long as it's reliable and wouldn't crap out on me. -
If you want just an AMP, then any of these would do just fine:

There are many on ebay, Carver or Adcom will work very good for you
Those are some hefty amps! -

We drove the 707's and 703's at CAF with Bel Canto amps, really nice match up.

This one is brand new and should work as well as the Bel Canto amp.

These are very good suggestions. Some of those older Adcom units seem to work forever. (I have two of them myself, both purchased online and used.)Fronts:B&W 804 Diamonds, Center: B&W HTM2 Diamond, Surrounds: PolkAudio LSi F/X (4)

Great sounding amp, meets your budget, and best of all it's new with a warranty. I would be cautious buying an amp 15+ years old as a recap is around the corner."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -
Just make sure you get an amp with some current as all LSi speakers like the power (new and old). There are some great used amp options out there, and you don't need to spend a ton to get something enjoyable.

That 1000 dollar budget is just for the "amp" right? You would use the Denon as a pre-amp? If so, lots of choices in that category!
Here you go, a demo Parasound a little over your budget or you could go down one model there to $682.

It goes without saying that everything suggested above is first rate as well!

This is a great question!
Anyone here have any experience with Bryston amps and Polk speakers?
also for the OP I would look at a Rotel 2ch Amp. Maybe a RB-1092? its a bit powerful ( 500wX2 ). But they have a great warm sound. Anything newer from Rotel sounds great too but im trying to keep you under $1,000.B&W CM9Classé Sigma -
I went with an integrated solution, I chose the Marantz PM8004, it's an absolutely perfect match for the 703's, you could easily go with the PM6004 as well.

Make sure you tell us how it's working for you once it's hooked up and tweaked to your satisfaction. We would all like to read about that.Fronts:B&W 804 Diamonds, Center: B&W HTM2 Diamond, Surrounds: PolkAudio LSi F/X (4)

They're an absolutely beautiful match, I've had my LSiM703's for about 60 days now. They replaced B&W 705's. AS I audition them for those in my office, nearly everyone picks the Polks, as they are just SO FULL sounding.

Hmmm....now I am intrigued with getting my ears on some 703s as I currently have B&W CDM1NTs - which are predecessors to thet B&W 705s and I really *like* the CDM1NTs.
