Trying to finish my 5.1 setup. Currently running the csi a6 along with the rti a7s for the front. Ive been thinking about getting the F/XiA6s for the left and right surround. Im curious to what the best placement for these speakers such as height, distance, and location compared to where im sitting. My living room is setup with the main sofa centered across the room from the tv and main speakers. There are walls to my left and right with my back facing the open kitchen. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I'd get the FxiA6's and mount them on the side wall. Hard to tell without seeing the room but i'd go a few feet behind the main listening position, slightly higher than ear level.

That position sounds about right. It is the classic 5.1 channel speaker position. You'll be very pleased with this.Fronts:B&W 804 Diamonds, Center: B&W HTM2 Diamond, Surrounds: PolkAudio LSi F/X (4)
Subwoofer: HSU VTK3-MK3
Electronics: Onkyo TX-NR 3010 receiver, Parasound Halo A31 amp, NAD T975 amp -
Appreciate it guys. My only problem is if i place the speakers behind me they will be in my breakfast area haha. So i guess ill have to stick to the walls directly to the left/right of the listening position.
