Can someone help, I purchased a pair of SDA 1A today with the interconnect cable, but the drivers aren't working the outside side tweeter, and the outside 6.5 inch driver, on either speaker the left or the right, I had them hooked up to a hometheater receiver I hope that's the problem the receiver was a Yamaha RX 2400, If someone could give some assistance it would be a great help soon as possible you can call me 469 767 0425, or you can hit back on this forum Thanks for you guys help.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will come and chime in--I assume you had interconnect cable connected? It seems odd that all drivers on the outside (I believe those are dimensional drivers) are out on both speakers. Perhaps use a multimeter to check continuity between the corresponding blades on the interconnect. The receiver may not be ideal, but shouldn't be the problem by itself. HT receivers should be common ground, a requirement for SDA, so it should at least run them with no harm done (provided you're gentle with the volume).
Additionally, I'm not sure if having your phone # posted on the internet is a fabulous idea. I suggest you PM a mod to have them remove it, but that will require you making a few more posts first...
Good luck, I hope you get it solved easily.Jay

Go to SDA Wiring Diagrams sticky, there's a SDA troubleshooting guide in there. That will be the best place to start.Denon PMA-900V

Did you listen to these before you bought them, and if so were all the drivers working then?
Not sure what you meant when you wrote: ". . . but the drivers aren't working the outside side tweeter. . ." Would you clarify?
In general, many folks disconnect one of the tweeters in order to enhance the SDA effect. Not sure which one - do a search here and there are threads about it. Perhaps the previous owner did this.
I second what AGfrost wrote, check continuity on the IC cable first. It's not your receiver if it powers other speakers without issue, though it's not a great choice for SDA's.
If it's not the cable I'd pull the non working drivers and be sure the quick connect tabs on the wire from the crossover are connected to both the speakers and the crossover board. If a previous owner had been inside these he could have forgotten to reconnect things, or somehow buggered them up.
Do the simple things first and then post what you find. Pics would also help.

Thanks for your advice, I'm wondering if it's even worth it with these speakers, all the drivers were working at the store with the cable, I get home the demenisional drivers aren't working at all including the tweeters, I just may sell these speakers I'm sure it's something very simple, the receiver I'm using is going to end up being just a processor once I connect it to a Yamaha M-80 amp I got the receiver for 30.00 couldn't beat that.

If you have the polarity reversed the dimensional drivers will not work, check your wiring. I believe that there were a few models that had the red and black caps reversed on the binding post, but don't remember which.
-
Thanks a lot, I'll check that out, If this doesn't work I'm going to sell these speakers.

Thanks for your advice the polarity was reverse, now all the drivers working the way they should, I took my SDA 1A's to Modia Home Theater today, The sales person hooked them up some Rotel gear, I tell you what these SDA's out performed B&W's CM9's, 683's, and 804 Diamonds this is no lie, I'm so glad I've decided to keep these speakers.

Those are a good start on the sda road. Wait until you here some of the modded one's or maybe some of the larger of the sda family then your wallet will really set on fire.Absolute corruption empowers absolutely.

The speakers really sound nice like they are, I'm going to leave everything in place as is.
