Picked up Coheed and Cambria's new album last night as it's the GFs favorite band along with 2 other discs.

I was showing them one by one and kept the Coheed disc for last as it was a surprise...
I whip it out.
She is shocked.
She forgot the new album was out.
She is thrilled.
I get brownie points. :wink:
I go to get fresh beer out of fridge.
She opens CD.
"Babe?", "Yeah?", "...Where is the CD?"

I had no words for a good 10 seconds as I walked over, picked up the case and was shocked to see there was NO disc inside... I began to think how the hell I was going to explain this to HMV today after work. I've never run into this and felt like an **** because she couldn't listen to her new album even though it wasn't my fault. We both had a hard time believing the whole scenario.

To make a long story short, the same employee was working that sold me the CD's last night. He was shocked as all hell about it.

    I had bought a cd brand new, had the correct label and every thing put it in hit play wrong artist was burned on it.
