For sale is my nice Harman Kardon HK 730 Twin Power receiver. This is rated at 40 watts per channel and sounds like a lot more. It has seperate transformers and pwer supplies for each channel. Has inputs for 2 tape decks, 2 turntables, 2 aux sources as well as preamp out and main amp in terminals.
This unit is in very nice shape. The window is in great shape as is the case cover. The front lower panel is also very nice with a couple of ver tiny dimples on the bottom edge. Almost all the lights have been replaced and all displays and lights work. The controls are quiet and work as they should. There is about an 8 second power supply whine when the unit is turned on after having sat but this does not seem to affect anything. The unit may?? need a tuner aligment as it needs a fairly strong signal for stereo reception.. I upgraded the A speaker terminals with ones that accept bananas ,bare wire, small spades and pins. The originals will be included. Also the original power cord has been reattached as I use a detachable with my gear. All in all a very nice 730. Asking $140 Thank I am in MN and will ship

Sitting here listening to the FM on my HK 430 and some Dynaco 25s! What a nice combo. Also have a 730 in the collection like the one above. For 40 watts x 2 the 730 can really put out some weighty bass! My tuner probably also needs some alignment--a pretty common problem with a unit this old. Otherwise a very "sweet" receiver.
Sometimes I think Keith has a Time Machine that allows him to go back in time, swoop these great deals up and bring them to you. Shhh. Don't tell him I know.
