A laugh from time to time.

So we all get those moments, when seeing our young ones grow that we just shake our head and hope it isn't real. Today I experienced one such incident. I have a niece on the west coast that is primed for Portland State. She has not been perfect but is a smart kid and recovers from bad decisions well. Recently her boyfriend has been speaking of Clown College...(funny in its own rite, but not the funny part yet lol). She, being the 17 year old impressionable girl, is now mentioning the interest in big shoes and a honking nose instead of attending an accredited such as Portland State.

This morning while on speaker phone with her mom I hear in the background that her boyfriends car is broken and she needs a ride to school. I am just guessing here but when I suggested she ride her unicycle I do not think it went over well, nor did the spitting of coffee that followed by her mother.

Ode to the youth of today....I'm still chuckling. LOL

    Don't be surprised if she really does skip going to Portland State and does actually go to Clown College. This town is f-ed up enough it wouldn't surprise me at all.

    There's a saying around here and just walking around downtown Portland you can see why such people say it. "Keep Portland Weird"

    Yup.. Portland is the laughing stock of the nation.. I'm embarrassed to live here..

    There are some great things about Portland.......And some not so great things about it. Same with San Francisco. Never been to Madison.
