Anybody have any of these?

I have an older set of DB Plus and a couple of sets of Sound Dynamics R-818 and A Sound Dynamics 15 inch sub and a set of Sound Dynamics SD-30-s speakers. Nice gear - poor mans hifi, but great stuff.

Anyone have any pics to share?

later,

I have DB Plus 880 waiting for refoam and also a Sound Dynamics RTS-1200 subwoofer.
    That sub is very nice.

I've heard good things about DB Plus 880 but can't do any listening until they are re-foamed.
    No idea about API.

    Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze.

Doesn't API of Canada own or owned all of those brands? In any case I know for a fact that whoever owned db Plus speakers also owned Energy during that time and that db Plus was produced as a kind of house brand for a number of retailers in the U.S. I know because I bought a pair of the 440 bookshelves in '90 in NYC. Still have them, the foam surrounds are getting a little old but still hanging in there!

They sound OK. The big thing back then was that Polycell tweeter (foam). Infinity also used a similar tweeter in that time period. I have the original brochure for db Plus speakers somewhere, the line included: 440, 880, 990, 1010 and 1212. I heard most of those. They were very efficient speakers. And I'd say that the 880 (two way 10" was the best of the lot). The larger towers were darker to my ears.
