Sunfire HRS-12

Anyone ever heard this subwoofer? How does it compare with others in its price range? I have a chance to take a road trip to check one out and was curious if it would be worth it.

    I would call Tom from Vintage Hi-Fi to chat about it. I havent heard this sub myself.

    I know the subs have a reputation of literally walking across the room due to woofer movement, so plan on an isolation plate. I also know some of their older subs had issues with the plate amp burning out, but do not know if this issue exists in this particular model which I believe is newer.

    The Sunfire amps seem to fail after awhile... the components they use cannot handle the power surges long term...
