Pro-ject Debut III Turntable

This is the last of the analog setup.

For sale is a Pro-ject Debut III turntable in matte black. I am the original owner, purchased it from Music Direct in the spring of 2007. It is fitted with the Ortofon OM5e cartridge that it came with, the platter has been upgraded to the acrylic Acryl it platter, which is a substantial upgrade to the stock platter.

It is in very good condition, no real marks or scratches noted, some very light swirling on the dust cover. I'd rather not guess at how many hours the cartridge has on it; I do know that it hasn't seen very much use since we had our first child in the spring of 2009. The turntable rarely had a record played on it that wasn't cleaned on an RCM, the stylus was cleaned after every play with an Onzow Zerodust Stylus cleaner.

Included in the sale are two extra cartridges, an Ortofon Super OM 10 and a Music Hall MM cartridge. These are in need of some maintenance, the Ortofon should be re-tipped and the Music Hall shopuld be inspected by a professional to see if it's viable for a re-build. Otherwise it will be useful for trade credit at a retailer such as Needledoctor. I also have the original platter if the buyer wishes to have it as well, it's been modified to reduce the ringing inherent in the metal platter.

I do have the original packing materials and literature. I will ship, but the buyer must pay the shipping charges. The turntable will be packed in it's original box then double boxed for protection. I won't budge on the packing method.
